God saves to forgive us of our sins and make us new creation. But he does not stop there. In addition to forgiveness, the Spirit of God transforms us into people of the New Kingdom. All of this is a lifelong process that requires us to be grateful for the gift of salvation while taking seriously our responsibility to let the Spirit of God to have full reign in our lives.
