Our guests for this podcast are Dr. Holly Jonely and Professor Rebecca Inzana.

They discuss the role of interprofessional teams in the care of patients and families who have experienced injury and loss and how clinicians can help them cope with these challenges.

Dr. Jonely is a physical therapist and practices in an outpatient orthopedic

clinical setting where she manages patients with musculoskeletal, pain and pelvic floor dysfunction.  She has been a member of the George Washington University physical therapy faculty since 2011 and is currently the Associate Program Director. Her primary areas of teaching responsibility include management of individuals with musculoskeletal dysfunction, women’s health and clinical reasoning.

Professor Inzana is a medical Speech-Language Pathologist at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA,  and on the faculty at MGH Institute of Health Professions.   Clinically, her interests span diagnostics and management of acute communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders in acutely ill patients, particular in the complex medical and neurogenic populations.  She has been practicing at MGH for 15 years, and worked in an acute rehabilitation hospital before that.
