In particular Pastor Carl addresses the first of a few challenging passages in scripture which have been used toward the oppresion of women in their callings and roles within the Body of Jesus Christ. Pastor Carl unpacks the passage found in 1 Timothy 2:8-15 in light of the balance of the scriptures, historical and cultural context and exploration of the original language of the text.God has designed us equally dignified and with complementary roles, but he has not limited roles, and particularly leadership roles, within the church based on preferential gender.
