Texting Satan

A NEW AI-POWERED APP claims to give users the sense that they’re texting Jesus, Mary, the apostles, and even Satan.

While the developer of Text With Jesus says the app “does not claim to provide actual divine insights or possess any form of divine consciousness,” it does raise questions about the future of religious experience—not to mention the possibility of the answers being influence by the Prince of the Power of the Air.

We also discuss the results of two new surveys, one showing that the prosperity gospel is still alive and well in America and the other revealing that the highest number of Internet searches related to the “flat Earth” theory come from liberal states.

Also: Trump is Godzilla; Zillow tries to keep the real estate bubble inflated; Palantir wants to turn your workplace into a panopticon; and a woman claims a painting she found at a charity shop is haunted (and she might be right).
