Today on the 5: I came across this Engagdet story about Square Enix planning to use AI in future game creation, and for a brief few moments I had the thought that this might be a perfect use for the technology. That period of optimisim crashed and burned pretty quickly once I rememberd that Square Enix is a company that is chiefly interested in making money.
