Thursday means a new episode! In the first half, Sandra talks about St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Key West, Florida, and its ghostly inhabitants. Perhaps its most well-known apparition is Fleming who appears in 19th-century clothing and seems upset. There is also a Sea Captain who takes pleasure in scaring anyone who dares visit the graveyard. In the second half Danielle covers the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre. This horrific event occurred over a period of 16 hours from May 31, 1921, to June 1, 1921. A white mob descended on Greenwood, an affluent neighborhood of Tulsa known for having mostly black residents and business owners. Hundreds were killed, thousands were left injured, and many left homeless. Yet this massacre remains one of the lesser-known incidents taught in the United States.
