Fixed vs. Growth Mindset in Small Business

It has been proven that small business owners who adopt a growth mindset can position themselves to thrive at all levels. But what exactly defines a growth mindset? And on the opposite side, what is a fixed mindset, and why are so many of us stuck in this mode?

In this episode, we'll discuss the difference between Fixed vs. Growth Mindset and how that applies to Small Business Owners and Entrepreneurs. Think of it like this - strong leadership, continual learning, and innovation are key to thriving any business today and it will be the same tomorrow. It's something that must be fostered throughout an organization in order for that company or brand to really progress. That is the essence of a growth mindset, but unlike a growth mindset, a fixed mindset does not encourage any of these ideals. Nor does it allow team members to develop or new leaders to emerge. It's a less risk-taking, less freedom, less collaborative, and less acceptance of failure approach, which having these behavioral symptoms of a "fixed mindset" will really be detrimental to your business.
