Next Episode: Father's Day Panel

In this message, Pastor Josh (www.instagram.com/joshandrewbrown)  larifying that being anointed isn't about feeling special or having superpowers. Instead, it's about being set apart for God's specific purpose.

Pastor Josh then explores the origin of the word "anointing" and its meaning in the Bible.  He explains that in the Old Testament, anointing oil was used to consecrate priests and prophets for their designated roles.  An example he might use is Moses being instructed by God to create the anointing oil (Exodus 30:22-33).  In the New Testament, the Holy Spirit is referred to as the anointing (2 Corinthians 1:21).

Pastor Josh emphasizes that the anointing is available to all believers, not just special people like pastors and worship leaders. He might say that the anointing is our "spiritual commodity" that we need to function effectively in life.  Just as oil is essential for many things, the Holy Spirit's anointing is essential for us to live our Christian lives.

Pastor Josh concludes by emphasizing that the anointing is permanent. It doesn't come and go depending on our circumstances.  God places his Holy Spirit in us to be with us always (1 John 2:27).
