Coyote Q&A with Tony Tebbe and Josh Smith

This week on the Overdrive outdoors podcast, Josh and Kevin are joined by Tony Tebbe and Josh Smith.
Josh had responded to a post we made on Michigan Coyote hunting outdoors facebook group to have the opportunity to speak directly with Tony, Josh and Kevin to ask questions to try to up his chances in the field.
We start by talking about the past weekends hunt with Josh Mapes, Kevin and Dave from Razor Broadheads.
The we get right into it by hearing Josh's current state of hunting, the struggles he has had, help and experiences he has had with other hunters in his area.
We talk about the excitement factor of predator hunting and Tony tells us how he decided to get into guiding.
We discuss WHY we enjoy predator hunting, thought processes behind coyote hunting, "don't think like a person, think like a coyote", geographical differences based on terrain, and how to play various ground.
Using decoys, both motion and "coyote" styles, coyote senses, sight, hearing, smell, vocalizations and what some of them mean and sound like, call placement, hand calls vs ecalls, different methods of getting some of the harder to get ones, times of year with the most activity, and times we don't want to get out there as much, amount of time on set, sound volume, using the terrain for your set up and more.
