Dr. Veronica Ivy has won two UCI masters track cycling world championships and is training for a attempt to win another with the return of the championship event after a 2-year COVID hiatus.
From her first title in 2018, she has stood out and spoke out from trans rights in sports, and she does without apology.
She's given master classes at the intersection of sporting policy and human rights in classrooms, lecture halls, and in some of the toughest rooms in news media.
This week she gets beamed up to our room for a sit down with Karleigh Webb that gets underneath the aero helmet for a probing interview that gets into the athlete, the activist, and a self-described "chick who just want to play sports".
