Mark Tewskbury was one of the first Olympic gold medalists to come out publicly as gay, when the swimmer from Canada decided to share his story publicly in 1998. He talks with us this week about the events that led to his coming out and the avalanche of attention he received. It was a very different time then, and he has gone on to find increasing acceptance for LGBTQ people in sports. He's been a powerful force, particularly in Canada, building toward that acceptance.
