The Mookie Betts trade sucked. In fact, the last time Boston had suffered such an incalculable loss of valuables was the Gardner Museum heist. And in the immediate aftermath, the 2020 Red Sox sucked too.
This year? Not so much. The Olde Towne Team is hitting the hell out of the ball and through two months, they've got one of the best records in the American League. But can Boston learn to love its Prodigal Sox? Hell, can Boston learn to love anything? Today, friend of the pod and The Sports Kiki's own Alex Reimer is back to answer those questions and live up to his Mr. Boston title that he was completely unaware of until I sprung it on him at the beginning of the episode.
