OTB Episode 187: Paul Rabil Announces His Retirement & 2021 PLL Championship Preview With Kyle Jackson, Ian MacKay, & Jay Carlson

KB and DJ are BACK and kick the show off with the biggest news in the lacrosse world: Paul Rabil announced his retirement from playing our beautiful game. The guys discuss his impact on the sport, their sadness of no longer seeing him play moving forward, but also their excitement for what the PLL is going to grow into now that Paul can fully dedicate his time to growing the business side of the game. Then the guys get into their 2021 PLL Championship Game preview with some help from an old friend and some new ones. Kyle Jackson kicks off our guest list (18:50-55:34) as he gives insight on what it takes to win a championship, the experience this Chaos roster has in title games that nobody's talking about, and of course we talk about his incredibly adorable daughter who has become the face of Chaos LC. Then the guys are joined by Ian MacKay (1:13:27-1:52:51) and you know we had to bring up the "Connor Fields trade", how Ian has transitioned to the SSDM position, the pre-championship anxiousness, and what his expectations are heading into D.C. as his squad takes on the two-time defending champs.
