Brian Noe and Jason Martin are in for Brady, Jonas and Lavar, and begin the show recapping the epic Game 7 between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics. Brian and Jason are puzzled by Jimmy Butler’s decision to take a wild 3 toward the end of the game, rather than simply going for the tie. Brian is a huge fan of the Celtics’ “all business” celebration and attitude at the end of the series. The guys debate what it takes to win a championship in today’s NBA. Can a single team get by with a single superstar to dominate and takeover, or do you need a unit to win it all? Plus, Brian and Jason discuss Giants Manager Gabe Kapler’s decision to not be on the field for the National Anthem. The guys are confused by Kapler’s stance, reasoning and his alleged exception for Memorial Day. Brian and Jason feel that Kapler’s actions are lacking consistency.
