This album can be seen as a gradual exploration of what one might call degrees and wakefulness, artificial and natural, tangible and elusive are blended, shifted and examined through the means of hypnotic soundscapes and subtly-transforming structures. Additional inspiration arose from various topics of psychology, philosophy and mythology, as well as early works of experimental electronica, all transmuted into a
contemporary context and intuitively realised through an intimately known, long-evolved modular synth setup.
