Episode 9 - Shayne Bidwell plus the latest News

On our "now" award winning Podcast, Out on the Paddock Episode 9 wraps up the "trilogy" that began back in Episodes 6 & 7. This episode delves into the "other" side of the result from WA Country Crickets own version of the "miracle match at the WACA" ... a Country Cup Final played back in 2005. We hear the memories of Mid West legend Shayne Bidwell as he recounts how Geraldton lost the "unloosable" match on that day as well as the long journey home after it was all over. More importantly though, we hear the fabulous story of a highly decorated WA Country Cricketer, who started his career in Lake Grace and has committed his passions and energies right through his time in the Mid West and into the WA Country XI ... a journey that still continues today, albeit in a slightly different role. It's a classic Country Cricket story. The back end of Episode 9 also focus's on the latest news from WA Country Cricket. Despite this episode coming out in mid winter 2022, WA Country Cricket continues to roll along, with plenty of reasons to stay connected and tune into - Out on the Paddock.
