The name of "House" is literally a "household" name in WA Country Cricket circles, mostly in the Busselton Margaret River region. For some of WA Country Cricket however, this name may not be quite as familiar and yet, so much of what is now taken for granted in regional WA Cricket, including many of the junior programs and other regional programs that happen each Cricket season right around WA Country, were forged by members of this amazing family and their legacy is captured in this episode of Out on the Paddock. Barry & Graham House are our guests in this episode. From Cricket played in Yallingup in the 1920's, to a stunning connection to one of Australia's most famous Test captains, playing Junior and Senior Country Week throughout the 1960's and into the 1970's, as well as representing WA at the highest level in Cricket for a period of time, this episode has it all and is a great listen. We recommend that if you value WA Country Cricket and it's rich history, then take the time out to put this episode on in the Car as your drive somewhere or pour yourself a beverage and simply sit back and hear the fabulous story of the Houses of Busselton.
