For over 35 years I've followed in the wake of sparks emitted from this man's concentric musical and spiritual path. Daniel Higgs is prophetic poet-mystic-dimensional traveler. His bands, words, performances and art are full of ontological puns and zen koan-like observations. This was one of my most anticipated interviews of anyone I've spoken with. Since it was recorded over the phone, the sound quality wavers at times, but the transmissions are strong. Seldom Careful also beamed in from across the ocean to join me down the bottomless rabbit hole Mr Higgs dug with his bare hands.
