On Memorial Day weekend I did a two moments in Black History segments. The first one was about the first Memorial Day back in 1865. With that being said to be fair there are those who claim July 4th in 1864 in Philly was the first. I didn't say anything because there was never evidence or mention of it until the early 1900's in Philly. Even the 1865 and 1866 ones were downplayed more than overlooked for years by many historians. Please do your own research and enjoy
