Literature, Education, and the Importance of a House Full of Books with Colleen Whitver

Between our common interest in writing, history, and education and our undeniable "gift for gab", Colleen and I shared a wonderful conversation when I visited her earlier this year to photograph her Style Story. Among other things, we discussed her background in literature, how that influenced the style of education she offered her children, what she has been growing in her garden lately, books on her reading list, and the responsibility of education.
