Are modern governments an efficient and effective way to manage a society? Are they even incentivised to manage society well, for the benefit of all, and with a long term vision? These are the topics addressed in this episode. I have shown previously that government is immoral at a structural level but many would argue that it's still a good way to organize and manage a society regardless of moral concerns. This opinion is assessed mainly by looking at the incentive models that exist in the structure of modern governments and seeing if they incentivise effective and/or efficient management.
