We continue today with the death of Andrew, who like his brother Peter, finding himself unworthy to be crucified on an upright T-Shaped Cross like the Messiah, Jesus Christ, opted for an X-Shape (Transverse) Cross which is now popularly known as the St. Andrew’s Cross. He preached on that cross for days before transcending into Glory. James was the only Apostle whose death was recorded in the Scriptures asides that of Judas Iscariot. He was killed by King Herod who persecuted Christians for the pleasure of the Jews. It is said that the guard that brought him into the court for his hearing was amazed by his testimony and became a Christian Himself, which led to him being beheaded alongside James. John, the Beloved Disciple, was thrown into a Vat of boiling oil on a coliseum but when he emerged unhurt, all the spectators became Christians. He was then exiled to the Island Mines of Patmos where he wrote the book of Revelation. He was said to have returned to Ephesus where he died a natural death at old age. Hallelujah. Thank you Beloved of God, see you tomorrow. God bless you all, Amen.
