Godly Sorrow

2 Chor. 7:10 is such a fascinating passage for Christians to appropriate and apply as we work out our Salvation with fear and trembling. Godly sorrow leads to repentance but earthly sorrow leads to death. And what is it again that leads to death? Sin. Yes, sin. Allowing or permitting ourselves to be sorrowful beyond the threshold of reasonable emotion for a bad situation is regarded as a sin because it leads to death. May God help us to always put our trust in Him knowing that He that started a good work in us will be able to finish it in Jesus name, Amen. Our song says that the soul that sinneth shall die.
