Next Episode: Diversity and The Arts

The black communities in Edmonton are diverse. Despite being viewed by larger society as one cohesive monolithic group of Black People, there are contrasting lived experiences in the internal dynamics of these communities. Some of these dynamics express themselves in isolation and separation described as fragmentation experienced between people of distinct ethnicities and histories within these communities. Listen as the host explores the fragmentation and various other dynamics of these communities as well as how this current state of affairs within these communities affect/ impede community action and community organizing.
