KEY TAKEAWAYS

Unique learning ability has a different meaning for each person, but to Gilly, it’s about identifying that everybody has a different way of picking up information e.g some people are auditory learners, others read books etc. It’s important to continue to explore new ways to learn. It’s good to always make the effort to get out of the house and get in touch with nature and fresh air to help to ground and refresh you.Business has highs and lows, don’t panic on slower months; stop and look at what other opportunities are in front of you that you haven’t offered yet.

BEST MOMENTS

“We can get sucked into this whole approach to fending for ourselves, not knowing where to find those people”

“I'm always learning more then I’m going ‘what do they need’, my clients”

“The genius moment, or the genius zone, where you are sort of like going in and out of subconscious, and that subconscious is where the memories are lying or going in between memories and conscious awareness and then listening to it”

“I work from inspiration, I don’t have to do anything, ill be inspired to do stuff"

“Doing, doing, doing instead of creating and being; it's quite debilitating and tiring and you feel like you're on a treadmill that never ends"

"I just feel exhilarated, in the same breath exhilarated but calmer"

"You can always look at what’s going on in the world and go ‘what could I do to make things better"

ABOUT THE GUEST

Rory first discovered he was dyslexic at the age of 33 whilst in his first year studying for his osteopathic master's. Getting this diagnosis made him realise that it could have contributed to previous communication and mental health issues. It also helped him to learn to let things go and be himself to allow him to thrive in whatever he chose to focus on. After the pandemic hit, the clinics he worked in closed, so he began upskilling to move with the times. After studying the power of high-performance coaching he took those skills he had learnt and is now a high-performance health coach, positive intelligence coa
