Philippians 3:17-21

“Join with others in following my example…and take note of those who live according to the pattern we gave you.” Philippians 3:17 (NIV84)

3 Pieces to Paul’s Pattern of Living:

1. SALVATION on the basis of FAITH (3:9)

2. SACRIFICE (3:7-8)

3. SUFFERING (3:10)

“For, as I have often told you before and now tell you again even with tears, many live as enemies of the cross of Christ. Their destiny is destruction, their god is their stomach, and their glory is in their shame. Their mind is set on earthly things. But our citizenship is in heaven.” Philippians 3:18-20a

Treasure Principle Key: HEAVEN and the future New Earth, not this fallen Earth, is my HOME.
