In honor of Black History Month, today we are reairing my June 2020 conversation with our summer intern Milana.
Over the last year, I have put a lot of energy into learning about the experiences of people of color and more about the parts of history I did not learn in school. This is one example of the kinds of things I have learned and the many people who have been willing to share their experiences with me so that I, and Organize 365, can do better.
This is my conversation with Milana. She was open hearted and willing to speak with me about about racism and what I have learned about my part in it. I have learned so much and WILL BE part of the discussion and the solution. I hope you can listen and open your mind, even if these ideas are uncomfortable. I am working to be better and do better.
