Born in Kansas and raised throughout the Midwest, Duncan Rodman was the black sheep on-and-off vegetarian of a meat loving middle-class family. From an early age, he never shy'ed away from being different. Growing up in public schools, he was always looking for civil discussions and debates about ethics, politics, health and spirituality.

Upon graduating high school in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at the beginning of The Great Recession.

After his 4-year enlistment serving as an Intelligence Specialist for the 122nd Fighter Wing, he immediately moved to Sarasota to pursue his childhood dream of becoming a chef. It was his love for the culinary arts and the science of food that led him on his unlikely path towards veganism.

5 years into Duncan’s vegan journey, he is now part a growing community of plant-based personal trainers and nutritionists.
