Welcome back to Open the Voice Gate - Rewind and Rewatch, where Case (https://twitter.com/_inyourcase) and Mike (https://twitter.com/fujiiheya) are Rewinding and Rewatching the Dragon Gate USA era of shows.

It’s the final show of 2012 on episode 37, as Case and Mike review Freedom Fight 2012 from 11/4/2012 at the NYWC Sportatorium in Deer Park, New York

Before getting into today’s episode, Case and Mike talk about the insane Fall of 2012 that the wrestling industry experienced, including DDT at the Budokan, Cornette gone from ROH for good, the Odyssey of Team Ambition and the Wheelman, and perhaps the biggest sliding doors moment in modern history: New Japan Pro Wrestling’s launch of internet Pay Per View, including the time they did it before the UStream days.

After that, they get into Freedom Fight 2012, with a four way Open the Freedom Gate main event which made the inaugural Voices of Wrestling Match of the Year poll, CIMA vs Sami Callihan and a No Disqualification match between Rich Swann and Chuck Taylor.

The show review starts at 00:53:50
