So folks think that illegalizing a commonly abused drug like marijuana actually solves the conundrum. On the flip side, the reality has been a mess, so far. Drug use among the youth is on an upward trajectory. Concomitantly, criminal activities are at an all-time high, thanks partly to drug abuse and addiction. Paradoxically, making marijuana illegal only serves to exercerbate the sprouting security concerns stemming from drug use.
