 ***Wendy Angulo is a Mom/LatinaAF/Lawyer/Writer/Project Mger/Visionary/Trailblazer. She  is a New York City-born Latina, raised in Caracas, Venezuela. Armed with a zeal for reading and writing since the age of seven and a law degree from the Universidad Católica Andres Bello, she made the decision to move back to New York City in 1998 where she began her career as a paralegal. She joined the New York City Latina Writers Group where she has been an active member since 2012 and was their Program Director until 2017. Wendy credits the NYCLWG workshops for helping her give life to her memoir which she is currently working on. She wants her story to inspire and motivate women everywhere who face a divorce, single parenting, and the countless other challenges of womanhood. 


 **Mariela Regalado : Contact/Follow  IG: @MarielaRegal  "Mariela Regalado is a Dominican immigrant from Brooklyn, whose passion in College Counseling started while she was still enrolled in her undergraduate career at St. John's University. Being the first in her family to attend college she lived and learned through different obstacles students faced enrolling, attending, and graduating College. She has served students in her neighborhood Bedford Stuyvesant, as well as, Uptown NYC, The Bronx and virtually. Mariela was the keynote speaker for Mayor DiBlasio's Education and Equity conference, where she advocated for the importance of College Access For All. She received the Daily News "Hometown Hero" in Education award. She understands that college access is social justice, and has been able to do that work alongside the Know Your Rights Camp. When she is not helping to change the landscape for students of color attending institutions of higher learning she is writing her multidimensional experience through poetry and prose, articles, and blogging. Mariela is currently teaching, writing and capturing everything her newborn daughter does on video."
