That’s right, I’ve got a little literary bun in the oven. I’m cooking up my first cookbook, to be released in Spring 2017! It feels a little surreal, kinda weird, but mainly really, really awesome. There are a hundred reasons why I’m excited, but I’d have to say that getting to work with one of my dream publishers (Harper Wave of the HarperCollins family) is at the very top of the list. Thank you to Harper’s Karen, Julie, and John.

I know you’re supposed to wait until the book comes out to write an acknowledgements page, but I’m not waiting to thank YOU GUYS for always being so supportive of this site and the podcast. You’ve played such a big role in making this happen. And I promise to make you proud. Also, a giant thank you to Sarah (my agent) for always believing in me, no matter what. You are the best. And Celeste, for simply being the coolest.

I’m really hoping to get you involved in this book as much as I can – from helping me test recipes and keeping you up to date on preorder giveaways (you know you like presents) to cooking classes/events. So if you aren’t already signed up for my newsletter, you can do it right here to get all the book details before anyone else. Oh, and you’ll get a free mini-cookbook download to get you started.

** Thanks to Alex  for putting a book in my belly (via Photoshop) and Jena for taking my photo!

NOW this week’s podcast! We’re doing things a little differently this week and have a two-part podcast for you. Not everything can be one part…

In part one, I bring back Adina Grigore, author of Skin Cleanse, to talk about my big book news. She was a total weirdo about announcing her book, and I never understood why…until now. We talk all about why we’re so damn awkward about it, and she reveals a big announcement of her own.

In part two, I talk to NYT-bestselling author Andie Mitchell. She wrote the incredible memoir It Was Me All Along and is the creator of the popular website Can You Stay For Dinner? She’s the real deal, and I couldn’t wait to sit down and talk with her.

Andie and I discuss her massive weight loss, the depression that surfaced after losing the weight, a useful tool she suggests to manage binge eating and negative thinking, and why your leggings might not be the best friend you thought they were.
