Oscar C Changes Name to Nakai

Oscar C is embarking on a new era of his career. For starters, he found something beautiful about his indigenous roots. An awakening maybe, hence the meaning of Nakai?

The Swiss/American club resident, radio host and co-producer announced the name change this year, writing: "I was a dreamer 4 years ago when all this began. I aimed high to play at least once in Ibiza, London and Amsterdam, to play at a festival, to produce and to be a club resident in Zürichs finest dance clubs. In this 4 years I achieved way beyond what I wished for. I did actually play in those cities, gathered production skills and produced for others and also became a club resident for almost 4 years now. I knew it was going to be hard work, because I did not know anyone in the nightlife business and also I'm not so outgoing on social media posting every aspect of my life but I love to share music, that counts right?! - "smiles and laughs". I had to go out there in the real world and earn my spot. Through passion, love and being true to my self at all times, I somehow managed to earn something that is really important, trust. So, yeah I got a shot and was prepared to be the best in what I do, simple as that. I created my own path and I'm very proud to say the least. I'm happy with the journey so far and now I'm more experienced, creative and wiser as young man, so I guess I'm ready to turn the page."

With his undeniable mixing skills and profound eclectic taste for underground dance music Nakai set his mission to let that spirit of harmonic connection reach your body mind and soul.
