Life is emotion and so if we want to live an emotionally rich life, it is important to know the set point of our emotional thermostats, so that we can increase the good vibes. Finding your set point sounds straight forward, but might not always be that easy. Once you've distinguished where you are, you can design a strategy for where you want to go. You can't eliminate the undesirable feelings, but you can make it so that they're not taking a room in your home.

Questions to ponder:

Where is your emotional thermostat set? What are the dominant emotions you experience in a week?Who do you surround yourself with? What emotions do they feel on average? What kind of language do you use? Are you pessimistic? Happy for others when they succeed?Put yourself in an environment where high vibes are the extreme. How do you feel? How do you feel after being in it for an extended period of time? Contrast can give you an idea as to where you are and time will slowly raise your bar to match those of your peers.
