Dimebag Darrell is known as one of the greatest heavy metal guitar players of all time. He was a founding member of the metal band Pantera, and after their split in the early 2000s he formed another band with his brother Vinnie called Damageplan. Things were looking up for Dimebag. But one fateful night in December during a Damageplan concert he was shot and killed by a deranged fan. Dimebag's legacy continues to live on in the hearts of many.
