Seether is a post-grunge band most wellknown for their hit songs Broken, Remedy, and others. Their 2007 album Finding Beauty in Negative Spaces was one of their most popular albums, and one song on said album stood out among them all. Rise Above This was a song written about singer Shaun Morgan's brother and his battle with depression. Through the death of his brother, the struggle Shaun and the band faced to keep going was monumental. Today, we learn about how the song was made and how Shaun turned tragedy into positivity in his brother's honor.
