John Ulrich is one of only a handful of people to win the AMA Dud Perkins Lifetime Achievement Award and be inducted into the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame — both of which happened in 2017. His son, Chris, earned the AMA Hazel Kolb Brighter Image Award in 2016.
