Women's economic security is an issue that has been drawn into sharp focus during the COVID19 pandemic.

The intractable pay disparity that still exists is just the start of it. Unpaid work at home, frontline work in insecure jobs, the loss of income as a consequence of caring responsibilities and the perilous state of women's superannuation savings are all aspects of an economic crisis for working women.

Kristine Ziwica is a journalist who has been writing about these issues extensively this year for The Saturday Paper. She joins us this week on the pod.
