Danny Farris, bowhunter influencer and extraordinaire, and Derrick Ratliff, rifle hunter influencer and extraordinaire, cross over to each other’s worlds for a lively talk about their commonalities and love for the hunting industry. Danny hosts the Hoyt Bowhunter Podcast, owns Ultimate Predator Gear and is on the board for the Colorado Bowhunters Association. He was the producer of Bowhunter TV, Arrow Affliction and Predator Nation TV and is a monthly columnist for Bowhunter Magazine. Derrick’s outdoor career began at Bowtech Archery, so their worlds collided for many years and Derrick often likens the archery experience to the long range rifle experience in regards to the nuance of tweaking technology and equipment to be successful. Danny shares details on the influence of a committed mentor as he developed his writing skills, his Shiras moose adventure and the creative use of his company’s decoy on a Texas aoudad hunt.
