Annabelle La Londe is an apprentice millwright who recently completed her foundations program at the College of New Caledonia in Prince George. With a passion for advancing her skills, Annabelle competed in the Skills Canada BC Provincial competition, where she won the gold medal and earned a spot representing Team BC at nationals in Quebec. Demonstrating her dedication and expertise, Annabelle placed 4th overall in the country, a remarkable achievement for a foundations student. Before enrolling in the Industrial Mechanic Foundations program, Annabelle gained extensive experience working in various roles within the industry. After two years of industrial work without an apprenticeship opportunity, she decided to pursue formal education on her own. She has conducted trades workshops, info sessions, and trade opportunity events to raise awareness about skilled trades.

Recently, Lisa transitioned from her role as a Maintenance Electrician to a position with the Construction Foundation of BC as a Catalyst for apprenticeship advancement and progression. Her leadership extends to various organizations, including serving as a Regional Rep for the BC Centre For Women In The Trades, a Director at large for the BC Trades Equity Society, an appointed Board member for the College of New Caledonia, and an active member of the Prince George and Area Women in Trades and Industry.
