Previous Episode: Episode 12: James Mclellan

Lucy Poirier is an Air Traffic Controller at YXS - Prince George Airport who, at a very young age, is achieving great things and is a wonderful inspiration!

This local Prince George difference maker is raising awareness and donations for Elevate Aviation, a non-profit organization geared towards creating a profoundly powerful shift in the aviation industry by promoting gender balance and connecting women with a network of support.

One of this non-profit's goals is to encourage women to pursue careers in the aviation industry and provide support to those who dream of a career in aviation.  They do this through several programs.

As British Columbia's Mentorship and Programs lead, Lucy is personally bringing these programs to Prince George and surrounding northern communities. In this podcast, we talk about Lucy's passion for the aviation industry, as well as her history growing up in southern British Columbia and the opportunity that brought her to the northern half of the province.
