Welcome back to On Repeat The Podcast!

This week it's a special episode - not only because we speak to the lovely Oscar Jerome, but it's also Hattie's Birthday!!!

Oscar Jerome is a South London-based singer, songwriter, and guitarist, inspired by the likes of Gil Scott-Heron, John Martyn, and J Dilla.

Oscar is becoming a pretty big name in the UK music scene, with the Guardian labelling him as “one to watch”. Oscar has played as part of London Afrobeat band Kokoroko and has worked alongside Shabaka Hutchings, Moses Boyd and Yussef Dayes. He’s also shared the stage with the likes of the wonderful Lianne La Havas and Kamasi Washington.

In this episode we talk about his favourite parts of the collaboration process, what he hopes to instil in the next generation and people he works with and of course, his latest release Breath Deep
