Welcome back to another episode of On Repeat.

This week we’re speaking to singer-songwriter, Brooke Bentham

Originally from South Shields, and now in London, her music has been described as 'austerely beautiful' and she's been deemed ‘one to watch' by The Guardian, plus featured in places such as Line Of Best Fit, London in Stereo and The Times.

Her latest album, Everyday Nothing, was nominated for best independent album at the AIM Awards and lies between rock and folk. Chronicling the mundanity and inertia of life as an artist post-graduation, the album is full of relatable and personal lyrics and is 'a confident, cohesive and finely-honed debut'.

In this episode, Brooke tells us about the highs and lows of being a breakout artist - but it’s not all doom and gloom! We also speak about being part of people's formative years, a day in the life of her songwriting and who is Oliver?! p.s. This one's for Adam Buxton.
