August 11, 2008 15:07After 32 years of distinguished service, Rear Admiral Jamie Barnett retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve in June. In a virtual retirement message, he urged the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.” Barnett recently wrote an Op-Ed in the Washington Post calling on military leaders to speak openly of how "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" injures our military and weakens our preparedness.
