As we continue our series on OBCF’s values, we examined how God made us relational beings–we are made for and best exist in deep and meaningful relationships with others. This is an essential quality of being made in God’s image who himself exists in relationship. Our need for community is pushed against by an internal drive and external culture that values and even prides itself on individuality. However, we are hard-wired to operate best when we are valued and accepted.
