This week we continued our short series on OBCF’s values, looking at our value of “Mission.” We first were reminded that all mission is God’s mission–it did not begin with the church but is the very nature of God who is love. It is God’s mission that is already at work in the world into which we are invited. We contrasted this against two other, incomplete motivations for mission: legalism (based solely on command) and humanism (based solely on human needs)
