Many of us have experienced the sting of betrayal and this is one of many human experiences that Jesus can empathize with us when he was given up by Judas. We will take a closer look at the contemporary customs that better illustrate the sting of betrayal. We will also look at Jesus through the lens of Passover customs and the roots of different practices to illustrate his sacrifice and what we can learn from this.
