We're both big sci-fi nerds, so when the option came up to review one of the most influential science-fiction movies of all time, we had to pick it. 'Forbidden Planet' from 1956 is a goldmine of firsts for fans of the genre. Its hand in basically creating the style of sci-fi that we love today cannot be disputed. Plus, it stars the one and only Leslie Nielsen, alongside Walter Pidgeon, Anne Francis, and Robby the Robot.
