In the last episode of Old Spook Lane Creepy Chats, Patricia and special guests Nikki Blake from Scooby Addicts, Alexa Lawlor from the Unmasked History of Scooby-Doo podcast, and Cameron Bates from Scooby-Doo and Cameron Too discuss about the 1998 animated film Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island in honor of its 25th anniversary. Fred, Daphne, Velma, Shaggy, and Scooby-Doo reunite after separating from Mystery Inc. to focus on their own jobs and lives to partake in joining Daphne as she travels to Louisiana to find real ghosts and monsters for her TV series Coast to Coast. They have no luck until a young woman named Lena tells them that she works on a mansion in an island that haunted by real zombies. When investigating the island, people have been disappearing and the island was once inhabited by pirates led by Morgan Moonscar. Are the zombies real? Will they solve the mystery behind the disappearing people?

When the film premiered on VHS, it was critically acclaimed by critics and fans calling it a risky approach to a franchise that was on its last legs. Nowadays, it's considered a classic and one of the best Scooby-Doo films ever made. Does it still hold up? Listen and find out.
