Valve Announces New VR Project, Half Life: Alyx – Coming March 2020

What’s Up:

The OK Beast Podcast crew played the following games this week: Pokemon Sword & Pokemon Shield, Jedi: Fallen Order, and Death Stranding

Listener Questions (Tweet Us or Email [email protected]):

Mathew Verley: What are your thoughts on Fallen Order not only getting snubbed for this year’s Game Awards, but also next year’s?

Andrew Festner: You must plan a 3 game marathon. The only stipulations are that they must share a story theme in common and cannot be within the same franchise. For example, God of War, The Last of Us and Telltale’s The Walking Dead can have fatherhood be their thematic connection.

Pedro Venegas: What are your plans for Black Friday? I always love looking through the Black Friday ads and looking for some good deals

Insipid Ghost: Do you expect Jedi: Fallen Order helps EA to keep the Star Wars license when their contract is up or is it likely to become distributed on an individual game basis?

Aydin Chamberlin: If you could only buy one of the recent major releases (Death Stranding, Fallen Order and Pokemon mainly) for the foreseeable future, which game would you choose?

Zach Davis: Haven’t got a chance to play Jedi yet, but the gameplay looks great. How does the story (with as few spoilers as possible) compare to other Star Wars games, specifically Jedi-focused ones like the Jedi Knight and Force Unleashed games?

Ben Bellevue: What part of the game do you connect with most? The characters, the plot, the gameplay, just being in the world of Star Wars? Is there a part you don’t really jive with?

John Bernardo: Do you feel that if Jedi fallen order wasn’t a Star Wars game, it would have the same acclaim ? Personally for me it being in the universe is what kept it fresh for me

John Maddock: What difficulty are you playing jedi fallen order on? And what color is your lightsaber?

Brian Jackson: How to do you personally feel Jedi is compared to other Souls games? Do you feel Jedi is a more streamlined version of those games and is it that a good/bad thing? Does it showcase why you like/dislike other Souls game? Do you feel the difficulty slider should be in those games?

Ryan Othman: Thoughts on the new pokemon designs? I really like them

Dylan Tierney: Favorite Gen 8 Pokemon? I’m a big fan of Toxitricity, it literally has a lead guitar form and a bass guitar form.
